The $2,750 opening championship is the lowest direct bracelet-event buy-in shown on the current schedule. The rest of the program rises quickly, with multiple $10,000, $26,000, $50,000 and $100,000 events plus a $250,000 invitational.

That makes Paradise very different from a large festival built around many low- and mid-buy-in side events. The most realistic path for many recreational players is not direct entry. It is qualification.

The Satellite Route Matters Most for Asia

WSOP identifies GGPoker as its international qualification partner and says players can use WSOP Express satellites to pursue a Super Main Event seat.

For an Asia-based player, the satellite decision should still be evaluated as a package—not as a cheap ticket to a $26,000 event.

Before entering a qualifier, confirm exactly what the prize includes:

The first requires at least $100,000 in tournament buy-ins, participation in specified starting flights, and a $5,000 deposit by October 31. The second requires at least $300,000 in tournament buy-ins and a $10,000 deposit by the same date, with additional travel and hospitality benefits.

WSOP states that the deposits are released after the required tournament play is completed.

These packages are designed for high-volume, high-stakes players. They should not be read as ordinary hotel promotions for a recreational player considering one event.

The useful lesson is broader: always separate a complimentary benefit from the spending obligation that unlocks it.

What the Guarantee Does—and Does Not—Tell You

A $50 million guaranteed prize pool can create a large field and a memorable event. It does not automatically make the tournament good value for a specific player.

A proper decision should include:

  • Direct buy-in or satellite investment
  • Expected number of attempts
  • Flights from Asia and domestic connections
  • Accommodation outside any package
