Your private cards: A spades Q diamonds. Opponent: K hearts Q spades. Shared board: Q clubs 9 diamonds 4 spades 2 hearts 8 clubs.

Lesson 2 is up! Let's look at hand rankings and work out who wins, one picture at a time.

Here's the hand in the picture:

Your two private cards: A♠ Q♦. Your opponent's two private cards: K♥ Q♠. The five shared cards in the middle: Q♣ 9♦ 4♠ 2♥ 8♣.

You each have ONE queen in your private cards. You both use the queen in the middle to make a pair of queens. Neither player was dealt two queens.

So who wins this hand? Does your ace make a difference against their king? Try picking the best five cards for each player before checking the lesson.

We'll also look at a different hand where both players use all five shared cards and split the pot. The pictures show exactly which cards count, so you don't have to guess.

There's a little quiz too. Have a go before tapping the answers. No money needed, just a bit of practice.

This is actually a really helpful tutorial. How would the game arrangement look like if it isn't set at a formal place? Let's say somewhere private like apartments or houses and you're up against friends and family members?

Yes. If you're in the Philippines, there are a few poker apps worth considering. GGPoker Philippines — My first recommendation if you want Texas Hold’em, tournaments, and cash games. It has Android and iOS versions, and GGPoker has a Philippines-specific site and terms

Yes, try downloading the GGPoker app. You can apply the lessons you learned here when playing poker on GGPoker. I use this strategy when playing on the GGPoker app.

broo, that can be confusing at first hahaha, If u both have the same pair, the higher side card, or kicker, decides who wins. If that’s the same too, you compare the next card until there’s a winner

THIS LESSON IS REALLY DETAILED! At first, I couldn't understand anything but after reading the lesson, I managed to answer the practice test with ease and got a perfect score. As for the question here, I win against my opponent because my 3rd card which is ace is higher than their 3rd card, the king. Really looking forward for the next lessons!
