Manila’s live poker calendar does not slow down when GOP Manila finishes on August 30. The next seven weeks move from low-cost daily events into Manila Super Series 24, then into the biggest remaining PokerStars festival in the city this year: the APPT Manila Championship.

August 30–September 17: The Lower-Cost Route

The Daily Special from August 30 to September 2 is the most accessible bridge into the next major festival. Road to APPT Manila Championship starting flights are listed at ₱1,500, with a ₱750,000 guarantee across the event.

The regular daily schedule then resumes from September 3 to 17. Published buy-ins currently range from ₱300 for Tuesday Grind to ₱3,000 for Saturday Survivor Knockout, with several ₱1,000–₱2,000 options during the week.

These smaller events can suit players who want live tournament experience without committing to a festival Main Event. Rebuys, add-ons and bounty formats can increase the true cost, however, so the advertised entry should never be treated as the maximum possible spend.

September 18–27: Manila Super Series 24

Manila Super Series 24 offers ten days of events with more than ₱18 million in total guarantees. The schedule mixes freerolls, qualifiers, ₱4,500 multi-flight events and mid-range side events.

The headline Main Event runs September 25–27:

  • Buy-in: ₱18,500
  • Guarantee: ₱10,000,000
  • Starting flights: September 25 and 26
  • Final day: September 27

For players seeking a cheaper path, Main Event qualifiers are listed from ₱2,700 and ₱3,600 on several festival days. Qualifiers award seats rather than cash equivalents, so players should confirm the exact seat conditions before entering.

September 27 also includes a Road to APPT Championship event with ten packages guaranteed, listed at a combined value of ₱2.1 million.

October 8–19: APPT Manila Championship

The APPT Manila Championship is the largest remaining Manila festival in this calendar window. PokerStars lists more than ₱132 million in total guarantees, with events spanning lower-cost openers, major mid-range tournaments and high rollers.

  • October 8: Okada Kickoff Marathon — ₱3,500 buy-in, ₱750,000 GTD
  • October 9–11: APPT Open — ₱60,000 buy-in, ₱15 million GTD
  • October 11–12: APPT National — ₱30,000 buy-in, ₱8 million GTD
  • October 12–14: PokerStars Red Dragon — ₱50,000 buy-in, ₱15 million GTD
  • October 14–15: Survivor Knockout — ₱25,000 buy-in, ₱5 million GTD
  • October 15–19: APPT Championship — ₱165,000 buy-in, ₱60 million GTD

The ₱165,000 Championship is not the only meaningful event on the schedule. Players with a smaller budget may find the ₱3,500 opener or the ₱25,000–₱35,000 late-festival events more realistic, while still getting the atmosphere of a major APPT stop.
